Stock and Company Financial Analysis
See how a given stock ticker (also referred to as the stock symbol) has performed over periods of time to know the lows and highs of a company’s shares and dig deeper into their financial reporting. Learning how to read a company balance sheet helps investors understand how the business is operating. The Edgar database is the official location where public companies are required to report their financial statements. This doesn’t mean companies can’t “cook the books” but will help investors see the raw numbers reported to Wall Street. If searching 10Ks isn’t your thing, check out the other sites, like Yahoo! Finance, that provide data for company financial statements. Just be aware that the results may vary for each site.
